Blurb: Estelle Caldwell caused a war with her birth.Estelle Caldwell has friends,family...everything a girl could ask for. But as she looks back on her life and her birthday approaches, weird things start to happen.Questions are left unanswered. Her feelings are starting to become clear for the one she's been in love with her whole life.People she knows start to become strangers to her.She has to leave to protect them... to protect... him.
Thoughts: First off I did enjoy the premise of the book at first, but as I got more deeper into the book, I was just disappointed and frustrated with the main character, Estelle. I cannot fathom why she is always being confronted by guys, who always want to hurt her and she acts like the damsel in distress and is rescued by two boys, Kent and Reed, who have to beat up any guy, who say's they don't like Estelle. This was what really stole the book premise away from me. But what really just made me arch my eyebrow in confusion, was the relationship between Kailor (Reed's alien Dad) and Estelle. I was really afraid, that Kailor and Estelle would just end up making out or something, based on their relationship in the book. Overall I think if Estelle had been more kick butt and more independent, then the book would have been so much better.
